Idea lifted from my beloved Raerae. I need a new journal entry anyway. The last one is from APRIL. e_e;



1. I've been drawing for a long time, but I've never taken it very seriously. My first work of art was a bunch of scribbles connected by lines all the way around my living room wall in violet crayon. Good shit.

2. My influences include, but are not limited to: JRock, the written work of many authors, my artistic friends, and various popular artists (manga and otherwise).

3. I don't believe myself to be a good artist. Average at best. My proportions come and go, my coloring isn't the greatest (especially my CG), I have stiff poses, and my backgrounds are nonexistant. I really wish I could use Photoshop properly, but I seem to be completely unable. It's sad, really. x_x

4. All of my original characters are at least half developed. Character creation is a great strength of mine and I wallow in it happily. I have over 200 OCs.

5. I love androgyny. Willowy, graceful, scrawny men are my absolute favorite.

6. I'm the sort of artist who can not draw for a few weeks and then pick up a pencil and have magically improved at something. Don't ask me to explain it. I don't understand it either.

7. The first art website I had was an elfwood account, which I recently erased everything on. That elfwood account led me to many things that really shaped who I ended up becoming in my young age... it took me to Lost Havens, the KC, and in a roundabout way, Raerae and Sansan. <3

8. I really like painting, but paintings are a bitch to scan. Thus, only one is up. Hardyharhar. It's my favorite of them though, so... yes.

9. When I doodle, I do it in a really strange style that isn't like most of my "polished" works. I should scan some of that shat. Hrm.

10. My art gets set on the backburner most of the time for my writing and my vocals. I can see myself getting somewhere with those, so I tend to focus on them instead.
